Coffin Bay is famous for producing some of the finest Oysters in the world. They are served in restaurants around Australia and exported across the world. The international interest wanting to learn how the Oysters are grown and harvested in this pristine environment has been the catalyst in creating these iconic tours.

This is truly a once in a lifetime experience, and the only tour of it’s kind in the world where you can wade out to the ‘salt water pavilion’ and taste fresh oysters, straight out of pristine Coffin Bay!

Climb into waterproof waders and head out to the ‘Salt Water Pavilion. Your tour guide for the day will lead you into the water, pour you a glass of wine, and tell you a few stories about Oysters, and Coffin Bay.

Wading out through the beautiful waters of the picturesque Coffin Bay, you’ll climb aboard our semi-submerged ‘Salt Water Pavilion’ which is situated right in a working commercial Oyster Farm. You’ll get to see how oysters are farmed, see baby oysters, learn how to shuck your very own oysters, and best of all, get to taste them fresh out of the pristine waters of Coffin Bay.

The tours are 1.5 hours in length and include a tasting of Coffin Bay’s finest (and freshest) Oysters. You’ll wear waders for the tour, have a shucking lesson and create memories that will last a lifetime.
